I feel amazing and my clothes are fitting better already! I’m completely satisfied with the shakes and my healthy lunch and I’ve had no cravings. I started the cleanse telling my husband and son that I wouldn’t be cooking for them much over the next 10 days because I didn’t want to be tempted to eat at dinner time. Well, I’ve actually done just the opposite, I been cooking and preparing foods every night so I have a healthy lunch to eat the next day(and they have a healthy dinner) and I feel so motivated and not tempted to pick. I really think my downfall was skimping on my lunches and I’d come home from work and crash eating everything I could grab over the next few hours.

I m so glad I was part of this opportunity!! I cannot thank you enough for offering the cleanse. I needed the jumpstart. A little history … I came home from college with an extra 60 yes 60 lbs… It actually took me 4 years to do all that damage. I graduated with a degree in Health Education and a spare tire around my middle. Not a good combo!! It was hell and I promised I would never go back there but as much as I tried, it seemed I was slowly heading in that direction. In the last 3 years gained 15 pounds. I tried so many things in the past several months but I could not get my head into it!
To keep my weight under control I always kept to eating healthy proteins, low carbs, and low sugar with a diet full of a healthy amount of fruits and vegetables. My downfall stared when the sugar and carbs started to increase. I was tricking myself thinking working out was enough!
I now feel Amazing! Empowered! And In Control. WITH EVEN MORE ENERGY THAN I DID BEFORE (That does scare my family and friends and sometimes Bonnie at 630 spin). I also see the importance of eating lighter in the evening! My weight loss so far is 8.5 lbs.
You were right the first two days were a bit challenging, but I feel so satisfied and rarely feel hungry. I plan to continue the Zrii products after the 18 days. This ride so far has also given me time to think about all the things in my life that need cleansing as well. For me the biggest lesson I have learned on this journey so far is…. a strong mind equals a strong body.
As long as I am writing this, I feel compelled to tell you … I love the thought of coming to the gym everyday! Every class and instructor is AWESOME (Including all the staff!!) We are always being pushed and challenged. You all put your hearts into every workout and it certainly shows how much you care about what we achieve.

Oh my god this is amazing , incredible!!!!!!From 240 to 135 cholesterol total in less then 3 months!!!! Timothy, How do you feel about this?
Just wanted to send you a quick e-mail with some great results. My Triglycerides which were a crazy 904 when I started seeing you are now 114! I was actually more impressed with the triglyceride drop but the cholesterol is big also. I really don't feel like I ate super terrible which is confusing when you see numbers like they were. My biggest problem was the bagel every morning or the breakfast sandwich. I would get fast food but not to the point where I would think it would affect me this much, but I guess I was wrong about that. Coffee with the sugar and creamer every night couldn't gave been good either. But I was also eating alot of dairy (milk, cheese and butter). And my exercise wasn't as good as it should have been. But that's all the past and I'm excited about feeling better and being healthier in the future. Especially with my job. I think the point of being able to retire at 42 is to actually be healthy enough to enjoy it, and I think if I never met you and continued on the path I was on, those retirement years would not have been to pretty. A big part of this has to do with you and I thank you from the bottom of my heart! We'll see you next week!

I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you about my experiences with your spinning classes at Ellen's fitness and the role that spinning has played in my recent 50 plus pound weight loss. I am a 59 year old, five foot eight male that has had a almost forty year period of weight flip flopping. I joined Ellen's Fitness in October 2010, with the vague idea of starting one on my many diets. I started to go to about 8-10 spin classes a month. I weighed about 255 pounds. In June 2011 I decided it was time to loose weight and keep it off for the rest of my life. I decided that being heavy was a decision I made and loosing and keeping the weight off was also a choice I could make. Like everyone, it was easy to come up with excuses- time constraints, work, family obligations; a million reasons not to exercise and eat better. I decided that from now on- no more excuses- I will take ownership for all my actions. My strategy was easy- eat less and exercise more- at least 45 minutes twice a day. It sounded hard to me at first, but I realized I could do anything I choose to do. No excuses this time. I decided to use spinning as my main exercise. I found it to be great exercise ( as much as 1100 calories an hour ), and a lot of fun- vibrant music and very energetic instructors. The instructors at Ellen's Fitness were all different in their own ways, but each has an approach that I find interesting and fun. They all push and motivate and make the whole process enjoyable. In July I went twenty times and starting in August I went 25-29 times a month. With 6.30 AM, day, evening and weekend classes, I find it easy to fit in the classes into my work and other obligations schedule. I supplement spinning with tread mill, walking, biking, weight lifting and swimming to round out twice a day exercise. I found that if I missed a day, I felt out of sorts- the more I did, the better I felt. I have, to date, lost 53 pounds and am about 20 pounds from my goal. I don't think I could have lost this weight without Spinning at Ellen's . It has provided the inspiration to succeed and has made what could be a painful process, a lot of fun. I have always found it hard to keep weight off, but this time I really think that if I keep spinning as a central idea in my life I will succeed.

I recently completed the ENErG program with Ellen and it far exceeded my expectations. I was hoping to lose 5 pounds and learn more about eating healthy. I signed on for the program with Ellen because I find her to be unbelievably motivating in her fitness classes and new she would be the best person to inspire me. I have tried Weight Watchers and other diets in the past and haven’t had these results. Instead of 5 pounds, I lost 10 pounds and 10 inches in only 3 months! What I loved most about working with Ellen is that this is not a “diet” it is a lifestyle and she showed me the way to eat healthy and satisfy my cravings. I never felt deprived and my energy level increased dramatically. Ellen was always available either in class or by email to answer any questions and also provide suggestions when I was going out to dinner. She dedicated her time and her passion for living your best possible life when she worked with me. I am so grateful I did this program and happy to weigh what I did in college! Working with Ellen has changed me on the outside and the inside and I look forward to continuing to learn and be inspired by her!
- Tara Isler05/18/2011I took a class on Saturday that could only be described in one solid word. Perfect! I could have closed my eyes, been in my living room on my pilates mat and still had the most phenomenal work out of my life. Her ability to speak and flow from move to move was flawless. As she spoke she gave us the smallest of critic's that truly expressed the movements of our bodies" should be critque's. It felt like she was lying next to me and slowly moving the parts of my body into the next position except she did all of that with only her words. The people in the class went from brand new students all the way to the talented staff at Ellen’s Pilates and Fitness. To me all the staff at Ellen’s are outstandingly talented. You all are so helpful and I couldn’t thank you enough. Lastly I just wanted to say. Bonnie, Thank you for that wonderful Saturday morning class. I can’t wait to lay down, open my eyes and realize I am not home but there in class listening to you teach.
- Debbie Federico04/11/2011I have been going to Ellen’s Fitness Studio for less than year now and I love going there! The instructors are excellent; the staff is very helpful and everyone is really nice. I have also taken private nutrition counseling with Ellen. She has a wonderful, subtle approach. I incorporated her suggestions into my life without much effort and it has all now become a way of life. By the end of our sessions I had reached the goals I set for myself and have never felt better. Ellen genuinely wants to make a difference and she truly cares about her client. She is also full of life and energy which is contagious!
- Edith Yavarian01/13/2011I just wanted to take a moment to comment on how pleased I am with my membership. I joined over the summer with my teenage daughter, Julia. Julia suffers from acute anxiety and previously had not had good experiences with excercise. Working out has been a major part of my life for many years; I was a member at Equinox when Julia and I signed up at Ellen's. I know how important fitness is to both physical and mental well-being and desperately wanted my this for my daughter. We met with Bonnie and she quickly took Julia under her wing. Julia started attending Mat Pilates classes with Bonnie and quickly her confidence started to improve. Bonnie is kind but tough with her and Julia has really responded to her attention. Bonnie's extraordinary expertise and focus has made a world of difference in Julia's life. She now looks forward to attending classes and has even tried a beginner spin with Yael! As a result of all the time spent with Julia at the studio this summer I have given up my Equinox membership and am spending my exercise time at Ellen's too. A big thank you to Bonnie and the rest of the excellent staff at Ellen's. I can't thank you enough.
