BONNIE HEYMAN:

Bonnie Heyman is the Assistant Director of Ellen’s Pilates and Fitness. She has been teaching classical Pilates since receiving her mat and apparatus certifications from Power Pilates in 2003. She’s currently enrolled in their Teacher Training Program and is excited to share the teachings of Joseph Pilates to both teachers and students alike. Her diverse background in dance, fitness and bodybuilding makes her classes a challenging and inspiring experience.
 

Lori VAN Doran:

Lori VanDoran has been passionate about fitness all her life.  She is certified through Interactive Fitness Trainers of America, with her specialty in cardio kickbox and strength training.  She brings much enthusiasm and energy to all her classes and loves to challenge her clients to help them achieve their fitness goals.  She is excited to share her expertise and knowledge with the members of Ellen’s Fitness.
 

Debbie D'Amico-Babino:

Debbie D’Amico-Babino has been an avid cyclist and runner for many years. She trains for and competes in many events and has a true affinity for her sports. After taking countless classes, Debbie decided to become a certified Spin Instructor in 2006. Debbie is now classified as a STAR 3 spinning instructor. Debbie brings her road experience to her classes and truly believes in the philosophies of the program. She loves sharing her passion with the members of Ellen’s Fitness.
 

Allison Mayer:

Allison Mayer has been studying Pilates for over 5 years. She received her Mat certification through Power Pilates. As an instructor at Ellen’s Fitness Studio, she specializes in introducing beginners to the world of Pilates, teaching classes that are accessible and unintimidating. Allison is also a full-time art teacher and holds a Masters of Science in Educational Administration. She loves being in the classroom educating her students, both in art and Pilates.

 

AMY AmaTO:

Amy Amato is a fitness professional, enthusiast, and athlete. She has been training clients privately, as well as teaching group fitness classes around the globe for over 15 years. She strives to make every client, every class reach and exceed their goal and get them over their “finish line”. She will inspire you to overcome your fitness obstacles and challenges. There is no surrendering, no belly-aching, and NO EXCUSES in Amy’s A.R.M.Y.TM regime.


DEBRA HART SMITH:

Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Debra now resides in Dix Hills. Debra began teaching group fitness in 1995. She is a Mad Dogg Athletics Certified Spinning Instructor and has been teaching spin classes since 2005. Her many years of teaching dance classes inspired her passion for Yoga which she is also a Certified Yoga Instructor. With her extensive fitness background she brings her knowledge and energy to all of her classes. She loves connecting with people in the group exercise environment. In her class, expect a challenging workout for all fitness levels. Through her coaching style and class design, Debra aims to inspire participants to achieve their goals and realize new challenges. She is extremely passionate about Fitness and believes it should be Fun, Exciting and Effective. Exercise has a way of empowering, energizing and refocusing you. Exercise has always been an important part of my life. Having the opportunity to motivate and hopefully inspire others how to find new strengths within themselves is one of the best gifts someone can give. Off the bike, Debra is a licensed insurance broker in the health insurance industry.
